NEW is part of EDGECo Holdings, Inc. a company providing technology enabled solutions and support services to financial intermediaries and their clients, including Full-Service Retirement Plan Administration, Brokerage, Advisory and Trust and custody Solutions.

We are looking for a skilled professional with 5+ years of experience in wealth management operations, preferably with familiarity of a variety of custodians. This individual must be a strategic thinker, problem solver, and a team player. The NEW Custodial Operations Manager will report to the head of NewEdge Wealth Operations. The position can be located full time in our Stamford, CT or Pittsburgh, PA offices.Travel will be required from time-to-time.

 

Responsibilities

  • Strategize, test and enhance operating procedures for our Custodians, including developing procedures for newly onboard Custodial relationships.
  • Develop and maintain Custodial relations and provide guidance and support to the field.
  • Partner with advisors and client service team members to ensure a seamless and effortless client experience.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives within the organization, like training, monitoring and escalations.
  • Work closely with Operations, Compliance, Cashiering, Custodian Support and Advisory and Support Teams.
  • Develop reports for daily reviews of account opening, trading and NIGO activities as well as performance metrics to assess growth, training and technology development requirements.
  • Support recurring and ad hoc requests for leadership updates in the form of Monthly KPIs, Quarterly Business Reviews and others.
  • Help to define and assess progress against the organization’s business objectives.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management operations, preferably with familiarity of a variety of custodians.
  • Strong industry knowledge surrounding wealth management operations in the areas of account opening, advisory, trading, reporting, and service features.
  • Proficiency in Custodial platforms with an emphasis on analytics and reporting.
  • Strategic thinking capable of working with complex problems and prioritizing key issues while maintaining a strong and consistent focus on execution and growth.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
