The Sr. Support Analyst will support NewEdge Securities and NewEdge Wealth with a primary focus on supporting back-office functions related to advisory and broker-dealer functions of the firm. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in a financial services position with a quantitative focus. The candidate must possess a strong attention to detail, solid communication, and analytical skills as well as the ability to collaborate with teammates to solve problems effectively.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the key relationship ‘point-person’ between NewEdge Securities and NewEdge Wealth.
  • Provide support to advisors and their team members regarding inquires related to client account setup, product availability, system access, report generation, billing, data integration, etc.
  • Support broker dealer product analysis review and approval.
  • Coordination of advisory account billing with the NECG billing team.
  • Quarterly analysis of mutual fund share class expense ratios.
  • Assist in establishing data feeds and online access for third-party managers.
  • Assist in generation and filing of various compliance reports including (ADV, 13F, 13D, etc.).
  • Assist in various ad-hoc projects and tasks as required.
  • Be a collaborative team member to meet the established goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrate the ability to identify areas of improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in RIA and/or Broker-Dealer industry.
  • Extreme attention to detail a must.
  • Experience in servicing financial advisors/registered reps.
  • Finance or accounting background preferred.
  • Securities licenses a plus but not required (SIE, Series 7, 24 & 65).
  • Experience with Fidelity/National Financial Services a plus.
  • Familiarity with Fidelity Wealthscape & Orion Advisor software a plus.
  • Basic understanding of investment securities and terminology.
  • Bachelor’s degree required – major in Accounting, Finance or Business is preferred.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
